Individual Counseling

Individualized support sessions that work for your life, your schedule, and your family. 

Whether you are looking for a safe environment to explore your new identity as a parent, trying to understand your feelings of shame, guilt, and inadequacy, or experiencing more significant postpartum adjustment symptoms, individual therapy can be a very powerful healing tool.  I will use an integrative and client-centered approach when working with you.  What this means is that I rely on you to be the expert of your life while I provide non-judgmental support and insights to help guide you in the direction you want to move.  I pull from different methodologies and techniques to tailor your therapy to meet your specific goals.  

I know how difficult it is to try and plan around feeding schedules, naps, and your own self-care; especially in those first months while you are still in a haze of sleepless nights, shower-less days, and emotional ups and downs.  I want to meet you where you need to be met.  If coming into the office just isn’t in the cards for you, we can explore other options such as virtual counseling sessions or in-home visits.
